2018 Calendar of Events

Sunday, July 22nd
10am to 3pm

The Historical Society will host a Summer Fair at the Kimball-Stanford House from 10-3. Antique dealers and craftsmen will be on site and at 11am there will be a fast-paced live auction at 11am. Beginning at noon, the musical group Alternate Ending will be performing in the barn. There will be grilled food, sandwiches, a pizza oven, and desserts, including ice cream. There will also be a display of antique cars and a chance to win one of three raffle items.

Monday, July 30th

 Hosted by Neale & Louisa Attenborough and Family. A catered dinner at their restored Lake Kezar home, once owned by the Garcelon Family. Limited seating. Reservations necessary. $125 per person

Lovell Barn Tour
Sunday, August 12th
1pm – 4pm

A tour of eight of Lovell’s finest barns. After all tours have concluded, refreshments will be served beginning at 4pm. Sign-in at the Kimball-Stanford House beginning at 11am. Participation limited to 200 people.

Fall Harvest
Sunday, October 14th
1pm – 4pm

A free family event at the Lovell Historical Society’s Kimball-Stanford House. There will be a cider press demonstration, free refreshments, a large harvest bake sale, petting zoo, free pumpkin painting and craft activities, and musical entertainment. The fiber arts museum will also be open with spinners and weavers displaying their craft.

Christmas Open House
Sunday, December 16th
1pm – 4pm

The Kimball-Stanford House will be decorated for the holidays and the museum exhibit will be open. An assortment of “goodies” will be offered in the Bakeshop along with a Hospitality Table with free food, punch and tea or coffee. Additionally, there will be a chance to win one of three raffle items.
